Circular recycling film, using the film collected from customer

"Ecouse™Lumirror™"※1 is a circular recycling PET film, utilizing used films collected from customers, and recovering to eco-friendly PET films by conduting mechanical recycling※2. We realized the same film property as general 'Lumirror™' film without impairing mechanical characteristics or reliability.
Adding coatings,vapor depositions are also available.

We establised 'film to film' circular recycling system, by collecting used films from customer, remove diverse coatings or resins, and recovering to eco-friendly films which helps materialize a sustainable economy.

Ecouse™Lumirror™Definition of Recycling

  • ①Post-Consumer Recycling:
  • Used recycled PET film which was collected from users.

  • ②Pre-Consumer Recycling:
  • Used recycled PET film collected from Toray(※3), and conducted further recycling process at third parties.
    ※3 scrap of primer coated film, which cannot be used for inhouse recycling

  • ③Inhouse Recycling:
  • Reuse of scrap which occurred during the film production process.

Ecouse™Lumirror™Environmental claims

Ecouse™ Lumirror™ is a recycled film which uses recycled materials that satisfies any of the following blending ratio (1) to (3).

  • (1) Over 25% of post-consumer materials
  • (2) Over 50% of pre-consumer materials
  • (3) When using post-consumer materials and pre-consumer materials, use the formula below:
